The White Drawing Room is known as perhaps the grandest of all the State Rooms in Buckingham Palace. The room has a secret door disguised as a mirror and cabinet that the Monarch uses to enter. The room has also been the setting of the Monarch’s annual Christmas broadcasts.
Each of the rooms is furnished with truly spectacular antiquities from painting by Rembrandt and Rubens, sculptures by Canova, exquisite examples of Sèvres porcelain, and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.
